Make Money With Building Backlinks To Your Squidoo Lenses
What do the backlinks to your Squidoo lenses mean? Backlinks are like votes for your lens. The more votes (backlinks) you have, the more will Google like you. Consequently, your lens will be ranked higher in search engines. Backlinks affect your site’s popularity. If you want to have a lens on the top of the first page of Google, you have to have more quality backlinks than your competitors. This means that if you had a backlink on site cnn.com, it would be much better quality than from a blog that has recently started to publish articles.
It’s the quality not the quantity of backlinks that counts. To build backlinks is time consuming and hard work. But the effort will be rewarded sooner than later. The important thing is to build lenses that contain the keywords with little competition or weak competition. You need to build backlinks naturally and without automated tools, because if Google suspects you’re using these tools, it can also happen that your lens will be punished and will no longer feature in the search engines on the keywords you want to rank.

This is a social bookmarking site. Here you are creating scoops and for each scoop you get a backlink to one of your lenses and backlinks are dofollow. It’s simple, just write a short description of your lens, add your link and it’s done. But be careful, because you have to write an unique description and not just copy it from your lens. You will have a good backlink, plus you will be able to earn money! With AdSense you can make additional money and you will be paid directly by AdSense itself.
REDGAGE
RedGage is a website that pays you for your content and monetizes your social activity. You can make money for things you’re doing online for example on Squidoo. Just add your content, start earning money and you can take your earnings with a RedGage debit card.
BEST REVIEWER
It is owned by the same person who started She Told Me. At Best Reviewer you write “top” lists, for example “Top 4 Football Websites”. The best thing is that you get a lot of backlinks very fast. Every reason on your top list can be a link to your blog, article, etc. At Best Reviewer you can also earn additional money with AdSense.
WIZZLEY
Wizzley is similar to Squidoo and was started by a few of the big Squids. You can write about your favourite things and also earn money or donate it to charity, but again your content needs to be unique. Wizzley has strict rules about that. This site is also a revenue sharing site where a percentage of ad revenue is shared with its authors through the Google AdSense program. You can also add your Amazon Associate IDs, but for each product you need to have a minimum of 50 words. If you are an affiliate for AllPosters or Zazzle, you can earn on those modules as well. Referring new members to Wizzley is also another method for earning money.
I’ve also used Xomba, but my account was banned. I still don’t know what I did wrong, but recently they updated the site and the bookmark feature is not available anymore. Now you have to write articles if you want to get backlinks from Xomba.

I use all of these too and they work well for me too. She Told Me changed from being free to now you have to pay to use it, so I haven’t been using them lately. However I still get traffic from my old links over there. I have just started writing on Wizzley and only have 2 pages so far, but I hope to expand and focus more over there this year.

It is hard to find great backlinks as the sites have recently changed their services. Ones that used to be free are not any longer.
