New Place Where You Can Buy and Sell Squidoo Lenses
Hi Squids, this article will tell you about a new website I found.
During my online browsing I discovered an interesting website, where you can buy and sell Squidoo lenses if you’re doing such business. You can find the website at: http://www.lensmarketcenter.com/.
I found some really interesting lenses, which can be bought at low price. Most of the lenses you can buy between $10 and $30. Some of them are available even below $10. I’m totally surprised by lensmasters that sell lenses at low prices. Squidoo lenses have so much potential.

Seems like people are realizing more and more it’s quite difficult to handle few hundreds of lenses with steady updates Squidoo wants, so many people rather decide to offer their work to others and by that earn some extra money. There are listed even some lenses with Google PageRank 3 which you can buy already for $10.
I found all those lenses at the category of PageRank 3 Lenses.
Apart from that category, listed lenses are also divided by PR and Tier – lenses within Tier 1 are sorted together, lenses with i.e. PR 2 are sorted together, etc. – just to make sure the place doesn’t become one huge mess, I suppose. It’s a lot easier to browse between lenses of same sort, rather than having to go through every lens listed – that is if you know what you’re looking for, of course.
Some lenses listed there have really good price and I’m seriously considering buying some. But maybe I will also try to sell some of my own lenses in the future. Who knows, maybe some folks will stop by and made me an offer I cannot refuse
. I received some offers before, but the bids were too small. And I really LOVE my lenses.
So far I’ve created 120+ of them, some of which have indeed reached a certain level at Squidoo’s rankings. That’s why I think I can really offer the Squidoo society some of my solid work in the future and hope to catch some nice deals for my lenses. But it’s not 100%, because I value my work. I’ll probably concentrate on buying lenses more.
In the end, it all comes to the potential buyers – bidding system they use at Lens Market Center is really the most fair-play system for buyers – you can decide yourself how much you want to spend on each lens – and the best bidder always wins!
So, if you’re also one of those people who keep creating new lenses every day and you’re thinking of selling some of them – adding the lenses to Lens Market Center would definitely be the ideal solution for you!
In one of the future posts I will write about my experiences with lenses I bought in the past and how I make research for a lens if I’m interested in buying. There are some tools you can use and most of them are free.
Did you sell or buy any lenses? Tell me about your experience below!

Thanks Mitja,
nice discovery
I have purchased a couple lenses. I like how they have those lenses categorized over there.
No problem Martin! I bought some, too. I think buying cheap lenses is really a great deal
The site structure is very friendly, I agree.
Me too Mitja.
One of the ones I bought (Halloween costumes) made some sales already.
It also had some cool modules that I always wanted
I know which modules you like and congrats on your sales! That’s fantastic
Interesting site, never heard of it, sounds good. Checked out a few tier 2 lenses, they were all listed in July, but now they’re all tier 3 or tier 4. Looks like there is not much movement on the site. I’ll keep an eye on it though.
Btw, thanks for finding your way to my blog yesterday
We will see how it will develop in the future. But the idea is great. I hope we can find great delas in the near future to expand our Squidoo business.
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful content
Hi Mitja,
What’s the usual price multiplier assigned to a Squidoo lens. For example if a lens was making $100 a month what would be the list price (how many times its monthly earnings)?
Love the content.
If you go to my resources, you can check the Lens Value feature on Squidutils site. It shows you how much the lens is worth. T1 lenses (around $60 per month) usually sells for $300+ or much more. It depend on the buyer. At the end it’s worth for the price the buyer want to pay. But if the lens would make $100 per month I would not sell it. Maybe for $1000+.
Approximate value is 5 times the average profit in makes per month. At least this are the prices I know from affiliate sites.
I’ve given some thought to selling my Squidoo lenses. Just like I’ve given some thought to selling my eCommerce sites. Only thing is I wouldn’t sell for a flat rate. I’d try to wrangle a way to receive a percentage of the future revenues (FINALLY BEING) generated because whoever bought my lens or website was able to market better than me and get the traffic to make the sales. Selling for a flat rate (I think) is foolish. But hey! If you need the money – I understand. Nice post!
Thanks for sharing this information you found regarding buying and selling lenses, because it is always nice to have options. I will check the website out that you mentioned because I have bought my fair share of lenses in the past and some of them are still making sales for me today.
okay so how do you create a lens and what does a lens do???
First you need to register on Squidoo, it’s free. Then you will use their platform, write an article and add some cool modules. With modules you can create polls, add videos, pictures, … so the lens is better. Lens is like a page and people who is looking for information you write, can help them. You can also earn money with Squidoo.
